Teaching people how to live more healthy, balanced, and elevated lives has been my passion for a long time. During my years in the Boston area, I studied Yang-style Tai Chi Chuan under Master Gin Soon Chu and his son, Vincent. I began teaching Tai Chi Chuan soon after moving to Jerusalem in 1991. I met my Kabbalah teacher, Hadassah Ben-Yishai, a few years later. Working with her profoundly changed my life. Out of that work, I co-created Sulam Chi and years later, began teaching Kabbalah to a wide range of seekers.

(Sulam Chi is a graceful and powerful movement form that integrates the energies of Tai Chi and Kabbalah’s mystical Tree of Life. A Udemy online course will soon be available. It is a beautiful introduction to the movements and what is behind them.)

The year 1991 was important for another reason. After reading Deepak Chopra’s book, Perfect Health, I became fascinated with Ayurveda. The philosophy and lifestyle principles of Ayurveda fit into the Taoist world view of living in harmony with nature that had become very important to me. I quickly began to incorporate many practical Ayurvedic practices into my daily life.

Recently, I became a certified Chopra Health Instructor. I offer an array of classes, workshops, and individual sessions, to teach people how to incorporate Ayurvedic principles and practices into their daily lives.

On the writing front, I contributed an essay to the book How to Achieve a Heaven on Earth, a collection of 101 insightful essays from some of the world’s greatest thinkers, leaders, and writers. For 7 years, I was a featured blogger on The Huffington Post writing about healthy living and spirituality. I am also the author of the inspirational self-help book Living Wisely. A second edition of Living Wisely is in the works.

After living is Israel for close to 10 years, I returned to the United States in 2001. While living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, I co-hosted Transitions Radio Magazine, a program that blended special features, guest interviews, cutting-edge information and practical resources for healthy living with an eclectic mix of contemporary music.

Music is another one of my passions. I am also a singer-songwriter. I was inspired to begin writing and performing love songs to the Divine while living in Jerusalem. My CD, Take a New Road, is available on most streaming services. I live with my family in southern California.
